I.T.S UG Campus organized an online Alumni Session for BCA students’ on “3 year of wisdom & Technology Perspective: A Good Career Choice for BCA Students” on June,5 2021.

Alumni are the foundations of an Institute and acts as a torchbearer for their upcoming generation. In order to refine our BBA & BCA Students and give them a Glimpse of the Corporate World, Alumni Talk Series are regularly planned where senior Alumni interact with the current students and guide them by sharing open feedback. Ms. Ragini Chauhan BCA Batch (2015-2018 ) was the speaker of the session. Mr. Sunil PandeyDirector UG in his welcome address expressed that Success of our Alumni is Success of Institute, he said learning will always helpful as technology, industry, are changed time to time , he also added that we should learn from others experiences that’s why we arrange alumni sessions for the students to learn lot of things from our alumnae. During the session she shared her experiences of her college life and also sharedhow students can groom themselves and gain confidence, she also share different career path after BCA, she said after BCA there are lots of career options are available in the corporate. The session was interesting and gave students the opportunity to resolve their queries she gave the solution of each query which was asked by the students during the session and also suggested about their career path. She advised the students to put more focus on the quant, numerical ability and reasoning sections as all companies take the test, she also said groom yourself and come out from their fear factor, one should be more confident and should work on their personality development, she also added that I.T.S provides lots of opportunity in each and every field. The need is to grab it. Towards the end of the session the guest was presented a virtual plaque as a token of gratitude.

The session was planned with an objective of reconnecting with the alumni as well as sharing their experiences & explorations as journey from campus to corporate corridors.Mr. Ankit GuptaSenior Consultant Ernst & Young Global Delivery Services, Gurugram,Indiawas the speaker of the session. Dr. Sunil Kumar PandeyDirector UG in his welcome address expressed that the experiences of the alumni help the students in understanding the current industry requirements and what is expected out from them and gives them confidence. He also added that alumni and students interactions are always fruitful as it fills the gaps between college lifeto corporate life and also provide a platform to the students know about the corporate life. Prof. Nancy Sharma, Vice Principal, UG Campus in her Concluding address explained the concept of alumni interaction with the students which has evolved for theneed from both the ends, i.e. academicians and professionals, In the aim of building a bridge between college life and career life, fresh graduates are made proactive to face the current challenges of competitive professional world. The speaker who himself was a source of inspiration. He shared that I.T.S is only institute which provides academic knowledge along with extra curriculum activities for the overall development of each individual student which plays a key role for personality building and gaining confidence,he also added how these practices motivated him to give his best every single time in his professional carrier. He talked aboutQuality & Audit System in corporate, he courted many corporate examples like Satyam computers, and PSU’s which are related to Quality & Audit System. The session was highly interactive, students were very excited and asked various questions which he answered very patiently and the students were satisfied. At the end of the session the guest was presented a virtual plaque as a token of gratitude.

A Guest Lecture on the topic “Digital Vs Conventional Mode of Learning” was organized on Thursday, June 10, 2021for the students of BBA First Year. The resource person for this guest lecture was Ms Soamya Prasad, Senior Training Specialist at BYJU’S. In the lecture the students were briefed about the merits and demerits of Digital and Conventional Modes of learning. According to Ms Prasad, every student should try to learn to his capacity irrespective of the mode of learning. Though, the importance of digital learning is increasing day by day still it depends upon many factors to adopt the appropriate mode of learning. It was a very interactive session as students asked many questions. All the questions were answered by the resource person.

The world is facing humanity’s biggest crisis since World War II. Almost every country has been affected by the devastating Coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Undoubtedly, this Coronavirus has put the world economy at a major risk. But as the saying “When going gets tough, the tough get going” we have to find ways to progress in Covid-19 which has become the New Normal.

With this thought in mind an e- Summit on “Progresing In Covid-19 The New Normal” was organized by I.T.S. Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad on 7th June’ 2020 under the able leadership of our Honorable Vice Chairman Mr. Arpit Chadha sir.

The e- Summit witnessed sessions led by Six Leaders associated with IIMs. Our Honorable Vice Chairman Mr. Arpit Chadha sir gave the opening address in which he requested everyone to stay positive and to always count our blessings. The Speakers addressed the virtual gathering on various topics like how various industries are preparing themselves to work after Covid-19. They also emphasized that few behavioral changes are temporary buy a few like Digital adoption is here to stay. They discussed about the three phases of dealing with Covid-19 i.e the Education Phase, Solidarity Phase and the New Normal Phase. Discussion on how branding has changed during these times were also held. Lot of emphasis was given on being an empathetic leader during times like this. It was also discussed that this is the time for self introspection and of finding out one’s strength. The audience was also told about the importance of integrity. Discussions were held at length on how the World has changed post Covid-19 Scenario and also on resuming operations during this time. The discussion also focused on a Five Point model of Engaging, Exploring, Explaining, Executing and Evaluating. The speakers advised the students to be Courageous, Curious and to start giving back to humanity.

Former Indian Cricketer R.P.Singh will be live with I.T.S on June 6, 2020

ITS- The Education Group always believes in developing and grooming the students in all spheres. In pursuit of this, a Conversation was organized with the Indian Cricketer Mr. R.P Singh under the able leadership of our Honorable Vice Chairman Mr. Arpit Chadha sir. The session was anchored by Professional anchor Ms. Divya Vaid.

Mr. R.P Singh shared how he stared his journey from Raebareli and pursued his passion for cricket to become a National Cricket player. He said that only cricket defines him and he feels that he is nothing without cricket.

He told his fans that Sachin Tendulakar is his inspiration and that he started playing cricket with tennis ball.

He also shared how his coaches helped his to improve his performance. He advised the students that the process is more important than the results. If one follows the process properly than results will automatically show up.He told the importance of taking decision. He said that he has always taken decision in life and has worked towards making the decisions right.

He said that there is no short cut to success and that only hard work is the key to success.He shared on the ways he is spending his post retirement. He said that he is enjoying coaching budding cricketers.
On being asked by our Honorable Vice Chairman Mr. Arpit Chadha sir about the huge responsibility being bestowed upon by BBCI of selecting selectors, he said that he is honored by this responsibility and will definitely fulfill this responsibility with dedication.
He also shared his experiences during the World Cup of 2007. He said that the moments which he had spent with his team mates will always remain very special for him.
Professional Anchor Ms. Divya Vaid asked a few rapid fire candid questions like to name 5 Gujrati Snacks as his wife is from Gujrat and to name his favourite actress which he very sportingly answered.
Further Mr. R. P Singh told the students ways to handle stress and the importance of being mentally strong.
Our Honorable Vice Chairman Mr. Arpit Chadha Sir expressed his gratitude towards Mr. R.P Singh for sharing his thoughts with the students and motivating them.

Even times like this could not deter him from organizing interaction with the Who’s who of the business world. In this pursuit, a Webinar on “Global Autos: Wading through the Treacherous Perfect Storm” by Mr. Dilip Chhabria, Chairman, MD and Chief Designer, DC2 was organized on 9th June’2020.

Honorable Vice Chairman Mr. Arpit Chadha sir welcomed him and said that it is an honor to host him and expressed his gratitude towards Mr. Dilip Chhabria for accepting the request to interact with the students of the ITS Education Group.In his address, Mr. Dilip Chhabria said that car was invented 125 years back and that the car industry has stood the test of time. He said that in every 5 years, most people buy a new car. Even though a car depreciates still people buy it and he said that the automobile industry is a peculiar industry.

He further said that lot of digitization will happen in the near future in the car industry. And according to him post Covid-19 there will be demand for high end cars rather than the economy cars as most of the people will be working from home and they will want to move in luxury cars during the weekends.He also shared his experience of designing and manufacturing the Avanti and also about his upcoming models and advised the students to be obsessively passionate in whatever they are doing. That has been his success mantra.
The concluding remarks were given by Honorable Vice Chairman Mr. Arpit Chadha sir. He said that there is no substitute to hard work and that change is the only consistent thing. He told the students to accept the changing times and to remain positive. It was a dream comes true for most of the students to be able to interact with Mr. Dilip Chhabria. They wholeheartedly thanked our Honorable Vice Chairman Mr. Arpit Chadha Sir and the Institute for organizing such a session with a living legend. UG Students and Faculty members from UG campus attended the session.

The world at this time is appreciating and applauding the frontline Corona warriors. I.T.S Ghaziabad salutes the frontline Corona warriors who selflessly are serving the Human Kind. When we talk about Selfless Corona Warriors a name which prominently comes to our mind is that of Ms. Shikha Malhotra - Indian Actress with main lead role in Hindi Feature Film "Kaanchli - Life in a Slough" and Dance performer & who has volunteered as a Nursing Officer. She was kind enough to accept our invitation and was live on the Official Instagram Page of I.T.S on 17th June 2020.

At the onset she said that I.T.S is very special to her and will always remain very close to her heart as this was the first college she came to promote her Movie "Kaanchli - Life in a Slough" with Mr. Sanjay Mishra. She shared her journey of being a very lively child to being paralyzed at the age of 12 years. She told the audience how she regained herself back to the normal enthusiastic person that she is now. She said that her parents had a very important role to play in bringing her back to her normal self.

She shared that when she saw the situation of Covid-19 she decided to volunteer as a Nursing Officer from March 27th 2020. Being a Corona Warrior, she has realized what real heroes are like. She shared her experience of treating people and what it feels like when a patient is fully cured. She also shared how she talks with all her patients and makes them feel positive. Now she has promised herself to be always be voluntarily and selflessly attached to the Medical Service which she feels is the most noble profession.
She advised everyone to never give up and to talk to oneself at least once daily. She ended her talk by requesting everyone to fight with the cause and not with the people. She further requested everyone to hold each other’s hand and to talk to as many as possible.

The audience was mesmerized with her energy level. Her energy was contagious and everyone attending her session could feel it. The students and the faculty members profusely thanked Our Honorable Vice Chairman Mr. Arpit Chadha sir for organizing this session and for spreading so much of positivity around.

Online International Yoga Day was celebrated at I.T.S Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad on 21st June’2020.

Yoga is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India. The word ‘yoga’ in Sanskrit means to unite, symbolizing the union of body and consciousness. Today it is practiced in various forms around the world and continues to grow in popularity.

Recognizing its universal appeal, on 11 December 2014, the United Nations proclaimed 21 June as the International Day of Yoga. International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga.
I.T.S Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad strongly believes in developing the students and the faculty members in all spheres in the true sense.

Our Honorable Vice Chairman Mr. Arpit Chadha sir preaches and practices spreading positivity everywhere. In pursuit of this, Online International Yoga Day was celebrated at I.T.S Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad on 21st June’2020. It was conducted by Yogi Dr. Amrit Raj from Maa Yoga Ashram, Arogyadham Ayurveda Holistic Treatment Centre. He started the Session by making everyone chant OM, Mahamrityunjai Mantra and Gayatri Mantra. He said that Mantras activate our Pituitary Glands and there are no medicines to activate this gland.

He further told everyone the importance of happiness. He shared a story to explain the same. He advised that we all should wake up with happiness and to sleep with happiness. In fact we should try to maintain the state of happiness in whatever we do throughout the day.
He shared a few cures from Ayurveda like having Flax Seeds to cure Diabetics, having a clove of garlic in empty stomach to cure problems related to cholesterol. He also suggested that oil made with Coconut oil and Camphor helps in pain relief. He also suggested to keep camphor and clove in the handkerchief and use it to while breathing as it helps in keeping the respiratory system healthy. He also shared seven tips to lose weight.

He made everyone do a few breathing exercises and made everyone say a few affirmations. He advised everyone to consciously smile for at least 500 times in the day. He said that being in a happy state of mind cures oneself of most of the diseases. He also advised everyone to practice affirmations, gratitude and forgiveness. He asked everyone to consciously love all living beings around. He said we should express our love to animals, tress and humans around us.
Director IT & UG Campus Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards Yogi Dr. Amrit Raj for sparing his time in spite of having a lot of engagement on International Yoga Day and for enlightening the audience with the way of leading a healthy and happy life.

All the students and faculty were very happy with the session and did all the activities with full enthusiasm. They all thanked Our Honorable Vice Chairman Mr. Arpit Chadha sir for always being so kind to think of the overall well being of all those associated with the I.T.S Education Group.

Dr. K K Aggarwal is the recipient of four prestigious National Awards (Padma Shri, Vishwa Hindi Samman, Dr B C Roy National Award and National Science Communication Award) and one State Award (Delhi Hindi Sahitya Samellan - Sahitya Shree Award 2007 - Doctor and Philosopher of Indian Culture).

Dr Aggarwal also holds Three Limca Book of Records in CPR 10. He is a Gold Medallist, TEDx Speaker & Recipient of FICCI Health Care Personality of the Year Award 2016.

He is the President of Confederation of Medical Associations of Asia and Oceania and the President of Heart Care Foundation of India. He is also Group Editor in Chief, IJCP Group.

Dr Aggarwal has been the Past National President and Past Honorary Secretary general, Indian Medical Association; Past President Delhi Medical Association and IMA New Delhi Branch. He has also been the Former Ethics Committee Member Medical Council of India and the Former Chairman Ethics Committee Delhi Medical Council.

This highly intellectual talk was attended by around 600 participants including students and faculty of I.T.S Ghaziabad. Dr Aggarwal gave a deep insight on the facts and myths about COVID-19 infection in Indian Population. He also discussed the causes, symptoms and treatment of Corona Virus infection.

He also explained the behavior of the virus and symptom based treatment protocol for the same. He also discussed the preventive strategies against COVID 19 infection and future scope of vaccine. He gave emphasis on the dos and don'ts in the COVID-19 pandemic era.

We thank our honorable Vice Chairman Mr Arpit Chadha for giving us the exposure to have interaction with a learned personality like Dr KK Aggarwal.
