The objective behind the visit was to acquaint and make students experience the live and real world of operations and manufacturing system in a real time. 

The resource person Mr. Prabh Singh, Plant manager briefed the students about the working model of Cooperative dairies and the processes at different levels along with the procurement, testing, processing – Clearing, homogenisation, pasteurisation etc. – testing of milk at various point – from procurement to the distribution and Distribution of the milk. She described the supply chain involved in the whole process. Further, students were shown a short film describing about the above in detail. At the end, the students enjoyed the tour and inquisitively asked questions and were satisfied with the answers by the concerned person.
