Day- 2 (September 9, 2025) Institute of Technology & Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad (UG Campus) is organizing the 5-day Orientation Programme PRARAMBH – 2025 for the new batches of BBA (30th Batch) and BCA (29th Batch) from 8th – 12th September 2025. On Day-2, September 9, 2025, the Inaugural Ceremony was graced by the distinguished presence of:  Shri S.K. Srivastava – IAS (Retd.), Chairman, Standing Committee, State Election Commissioners, Delhi (Chief Guest & Keynote Speaker)  Shri Pankaj Kr. Patodi – Head of Supply Chain Management, Godfrey Phillips India Ltd.  Dr. Sindhu Bhaskar – Chairman & Founder, EST Group, Cambridge Innovation Center, MIT Boston, USA, Forbes Council Member  Dr. R.P. Tripathi – Senior Technical Consultant, AICTE, District Coordinator – Bharatiya Yog Sansthan, India  Mr. Arpit Chadha – Vice Chairman, I.T.S – The Education Group  Prof. Surinder Sood – Director of Public Relations, I.T.S – The Education Group  Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey – Director IT & UG Campus, I.T.S  Dr. Nancy Sharma – Vice Principal, UG Campus, I.T.S The program started with lamp lighting and seeking the blessing of Maa Sarasvati by Guests, Director & Vice Principal, UG Campus, BBA & BCA courses chairperson & I-year coordinator. Dr. Vidushi Singh, Chairperson – BCA Course, addressed the students and gave a detailed overview of the BCA program structure, course curriculum, and learning opportunities. She highlighted the importance of practical exposure, coding ethics, industry-driven projects, and value-added modules integrated into the course. Dr. Singh motivated the students to remain disciplined, focus on continuous learning, and take full advantage of the resources and guidance provided by I.T.S to excel in their academic as well as professional journey. Dr. Nancy Sharma– Vice Principal, UG Campus, I.T.S motivated students by reminding them that a successful journey begins with small steps of dedication. She encouraged them to stay curious, committed, and value-driven, assuring that I.T.S will support their holistic growth. She emphasized that students should never forget three essential qualities in their academic and personal journey—Curiosity to keep learning, Courage to face challenges with confidence, and Commitment to pursue their goals with consistency and determination. These, she said, will serve as guiding principles in shaping a purposeful and successful life. Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey, Director IT & UG, briefed the students about the importance of continuous learning and adaptability in today’s world. He highlighted that along with completing the syllabus, students must focus on value-added courses and industry-oriented modules offered by I.T.S, which prepare them for real corporate challenges. He emphasized that success requires equal efforts from both the institute and students, and encouraged them to stay disciplined, sincere, and open to new learning opportunities. Mr. Arpit Chadha – Vice Chairman, I.T.S – The Education Group welcomed the new batches on behalf of I.T.S – The Education Group and inspired students to make the best use of the opportunities ahead. He encouraged them to thank their parents for their efforts and sacrifices in supporting their education and bringing them to college. He reminded the students to remain attentive in classes, as consistent focus and dedication will surely help them achieve success. Mr. Chadha motivated them to uphold values, stay committed to their goals, and assured that with sincerity and hard work, they will surely find their place in life after completing the course. Shri S.K. Srivastava, in his keynote address, encouraged students to follow discipline, perseverance, and integrity as the foundation of their professional journey. He highlighted that education is not only for individual growth but also for the benefit of one’s family, society, and the nation. He advised students to enjoy their life while keeping future concerns in mind, to always respect and value their families, and to feel proud of their roots and achievements. Drawing from his own self-experiences, he inspired the young learners to stay grounded yet ambitious, and to balance personal happiness with long-term career goals. Shri Pankaj Kr. Patodi shared practical insights from his vast industry experience, emphasizing the importance of supply chain management, problem-solving, and adaptability. He guided students to connect their academic learning with real-world corporate practices. He also spoke about the difference between school life and college life, highlighting that while school offers a structured environment, college provides freedom and responsibility that must be used wisely. He reminded students that arrogance can be harmful for personal as well as professional growth and encouraged them to remain humble. He further added that learning can be gained from anyone—whether peers, seniors, or teachers—and this openness to learn from every source is what builds a strong foundation for success. Dr. Sindhu Bhaskar underlined that ethics in coding and management program is essential for building a responsible career. He explained how BBA and BCA courses are interconnected, complementing each other in shaping future leaders. He urged students to remain curious in life and always ready to adapt to changing situations with confidence. He also emphasized the importance of ethics not only in coding but also in communication, as values and integrity reflect a true professional. Dr. Bhaskar encouraged students to constantly work on self-improvement, stay future-oriented, make their families proud, and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s progress. Dr. R.P. Tripathi emphasized the role of self-study, yoga, and discipline in shaping student life. He encouraged students to practice laughing exercises, stay positive, and adapt to changing environments with confidence. He reminded everyone that learning is endless and must be embraced as a lifelong habit. He also stressed the need to develop good communication skills, which are vital for both personal and professional success. Dr. Tripathi spoke about the celebration of Hindi Diwas as mandated by AICTE and highlighted the importance of one’s mother tongue, urging students to take pride in their cultural roots while excelling in modern education. Prof. Surinder Sood- Director of Public Relations, I.T.S – The Education Group explained the difference between school and college life, stating that while school involves constant supervision, college provides students with freedom that must be balanced with responsibility. He reminded them to make wise use of this freedom by focusing on self- discipline and time management. Prof. Sood also highlighted the need to use mobile phones as tools for learning rather than distraction, and shared practical examples of how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping industries and daily life. He motivated students to stay updated with emerging technologies and to make the most of the opportunities that higher education offers. Award Distribution The session also witnessed the distribution of prestigious awards to recognize academic excellence and overall performance. Ms. Prashansa Sharma (BCA 2022–2025) and Ms. Unnati Sharma (BBA 2022–2025) were felicitated with a cash prize of ₹15,000 each as secured the Second Rank in the Merit List of CCSU, Meerut, bringing pride and honour to the institute. Their dedication and achievements served as an inspiration for the freshers to pursue excellence with sincerity and determination. In addition, the Ishika Memorial Award was conferred upon Ms. Kashish (BCA 2024–2027) and Ms. Khushi Pal (BBA 2024–2027). Both received a cash prize of ₹5,100 each, recognizing their potential and encouraging them to excel in their academic journey ahead. Closing Note The Inaugural Ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Prof. Adil Khan, Chairperson – BBA, who expressed gratitude to all the dignitaries, faculty members, and parents for their presence and blessings. Students were reminded that today they are here because of their parents’ support, and now it is their responsibility to shape their future with knowledge, ethics, and innovation. The session ended with thunderous applause, marking a grand and inspiring beginning for the new batches of BBA & BCA at I.T.S.
