Teaching & learning methods must take into account not only the nature of the subject matter but also how students learn. In this view, the pedagogy adopted  for  delivering  the  course content at I.T.S is application based as it improves  innovative thinking of the student and provides an insight of the working  environment of corporate world.  The pedagogy involves:  Case studies, Class Presentations, Industry visits, Guest lectures by Industry experts, Class activities like Role play, Situation  analysis,  Problem solving session, Quiz, Group discussions etc.  Apart from this various other pedagogical methods include:

Projects and Assignments
Project based learning and regular assignments form an integral part of academic curriculum at I.T.S. Assignments help the students to apply the concepts which results in deeper understanding of the subject and related topic. Students are expected to apply the concepts to real life management problems in such assignments and projects. It also increases the efficiency of students in research work.

Seminars and Workshops:
Inviting eminent personalities who have achieved some feat in their field to take some seminars and workshops for the students greatly help them interact with present and on going advancements in the technology and market. Seminars and workshops are capable of keeping the students updated with the technology. Active participation in workshop provides continuing resource for ideas, suggestions and possible solutions to problems. Besides, workshops do tend to address issues faced by organizations which may be helpful in resolving many severities.

Tutorials and Discussions
Tutorial teaching is a unique aspect of the educational experience that I.T.S offers to its students. In Tutorial, students discuss the topic with the faculty individually or in small groups, which enhance their verbal communication skills and give them an opportunity to receive constant feedback. The  faculty  encourages  the student to develop  critical  and  analytical  thinking  as  well  as problem  solving  skills. Discussion in tutorial helps students to see the significance and implications of their knowledge so they can apply what they have learned.

Lectures introduce concepts, issues and also moderates the exchange of views.  They become the starting point of thinking and reading the course.
