       In continuous efforts to enhance academic skills of the faculty members, UG campus has organised a two day’s Faculty development programme on “case writing & development” on January 4th & 5th, 2019. The FDP programme received an overwhelming response by faculty members about the different aspect of case. The program was so interactive & all the faculty members learned how to write a case & how it should be discussed in the class. 

     Mr. Aishwarya Mani Founder Electric Vehicle Startup in Stealth Mode discussed the availability & need of mode of transport & specifically mentioned the usage of electric sharing scooters, he also explained the importance of taking into consideration each & every point before any research process or case discussion. This session was so interactive as all the faculty members enjoyed & learned different aspects of the research. 

    Dr. Ekta Duggal Professor MLNC enlightened the relevance of including practical cases in the discourse with the students in class. Professor shared her views on the Practice Based Learning (PBL), Case Based Teaching and Good Practices in Research. The audience witnessed a great show of her expertise on the issue as she began by pointing possible reasons why people abstain from using case study method of teaching and gradually suggested ways so that teachers learn to ensure that their classes evolve with the cases discussed. She also helped the faculty members to write a case. The identification of key issues, gathering information and presentation in sequential manner was explained in detail.
    Prof. Harsh Vardhan Verma, FMS, University of Delhi shared his notions of the ease of explanation with the assistance of Cases. He also bridged the gap between the theoretical concepts of Marketing of services and Brand Management to the ground zero of practical issues. He also maintained the discussion vibrant on the final day of FDP. He insisted the participants to keep the conversation of Case studies as multidisciplinary in the initial phase and then later on filter out the concepts to be discussed in the class. He detailed the skills and methodology required for the case study analysis, & how to prepare, conduct and analyse the case study. The use of teaching notes and board plan was also explained.
    Sessions in FDP had a vibrant two ways discussion with an equally participative audience. The valedictory session of the FDP has given a chance to fellow faculty members to thank the College for providing this learning arena.
    The participation certificates were distributed to all the participants.
    After the Vote of Thanks by Director- UG Dr, Vidhya Sekhri & Vice Principal, Prof Nancy Sharma, the session came to an end after two day’s participation of all the faculty members.

     I.T.S - UG Campus organized “Biz-Fiesta 2019” Annual Management Fest for BBA students on March 12, 2019. Biz Fiesta 2019 is one of its kind management fest for BBA students which will impart such skills in BBA students through various activities. The event included multitude of activities such as Quiz, Ad-mad show, Logo Design, Barter Puzzle, Product Launch, Market Watch, Treasure Hunt and many more. Mr. Sushant Dubey, Executive Vice President, Government Verticals, Sify Technologies was presents Chief Guest of inaugural ceremony and stressed on importance of such activities are important for holistic development of students. Mr. Praveen Kumar Mittal, Director - FICCI, was present as Chief Guest of prize distribution ceremony and congratulated the winners. 

    All the years participated in every activity enthusiastically. The overall year trophy was won by BBA II year.

    I.T.S. UG Campus has organized a Guest Lecture on “VFX & Animation” in association with MAAC Animation for BCA I Year Students on March 11, 2019.
    The Distinguished Person of the event was Mr. Pankaj Sharma, a very experienced animator having experience of more than 13 years, currently associated with MAAC for last 8 years, RDC, Ghaziabad.
     The Objective of this guest lecture was to enhance the understanding of capabilities of Computer Vision in the area of VFX, Computer Graphics & Computer animation. Mr. Sharma demonstrated many special effects on 2D/3D objects. Lecture remained good and students of BCA II Semester have enthusiastically asked many questions.

     I.T.S Mohan Nagar UG Campus organized a SYMPOSIUM on “Empowering Women – Creating Innovative Ecosystem” on the occasion of “International Women’s Day” to celebrate the achievements of women in all spheres of life, on the focal theme of “Balance for Better ” on 8th March 2018, Friday  at Chanakya Auditorium at 10:00 am. 

     The event was inaugurated with lamp lighting and Saraswati vandana jointly by Lady Vice Chairman, Ms. Latika Chaddha, Vice Principal – UG Prof.Nancy Sharma & Director UG –Dr. Vidya Sekhri along with the esteemed guest speakers for the symposium: Ms. Aarti Malhotra- RJ, FM 102.6, Ms. Prerna Taneja-  CEO- Clinic Eximus, MDS, FMS(Germany), Consultant Oral Cancer    Specialist and Medical Cosmetologist, , Dr. Mala Kapoor- Principal, Silver Line Prestige School, Ghaziabad, Ms. Supreet Gupta,  HR- Head, AES India, Ms. Pratibha Grewal - Femina Miss India 2009 finalist & Official Coordinator,Mrs. Universe India 2017, Ms. Saswati Sen, Renowned Kathak Dancer & Senior Disciple of Pandit Birju Maharaj, Ms. Reema Kohli- Principal, Air Force School, Hindon Ghaziabad.
    The program was further followed by a welcome address by Director-UG, Dr. Vidya Sekhri which marked the beginning of Session 1 of the event “BARRIERS TO SCALE AND SUCCESS. 
    In the second session, the topic of discussion was “BUILDING A FUTURE WITH WOMEN’S VISION” which was discussed by exceptional   personalities who has achieved fame , after facing a long struggle  on the various arenas and possibilities of success for women in work field. The perimeter of discussion contained an important aspect such as, the long but untiring struggle women had to go through to finally mark their presence and achieve notable acceptance in the society which leads to a better world for them at least in current scenario. Today, women are independent, successful, accepts challenges, prove them and become the torch bearers for others, which is an achievement in itself.
    The event was attended by all faculties, Course coordinators and chairpersons and concluded with a vote of thanks to Guests for their valuable time.

     The motive behind this guest lecture was to make familiar our students about Client Server Environment and its practical applicability in different domains. 

    Mr. Amit Arora, Associate Vice President, Royal Bank of Scotland, Gurgaon was the speaker of the session. He gave an overview about Client Server Technology to students. He also briefed the students about the client server architecture, types of server, components of client server environment, difference between client server computing & distributed computing etc.
    He has sighted some real time examples related to Amazon, Flipkart, Facebook etc. to give clarity about the concept. Through discussion students got to know various advantages and challenges related to implementation of client server environment. The overall session was informative for the students and their queries were addressed by the speaker.

     The Workshop started with a very interesting exercise in which the participants were asked to draw their own sketch in reference to a particular situation. 

    Every individual is a treasure of immense potential and one need to explore and identify those strength and weakness to deliver effective results and strengthen healthy relationships. The speakers for this session were Dr. D.K. Pandey and Dr. Charu Chaudhary from I.T.S PG Campus. This workshop sensitized the participants (BBA-II Semester) about their key strengths and weakness so that they can leverage the knowledge to effectively relate with themselves and others. 
    The participants could come to know about certain things which can bring happiness in their lives. They became aware of their strengths and weakness which can help them in many ways. The workshop was full of practical exercises and was indeed a great experience for all the students.

     The motive behind this lecture was to expose the students to the topic “Stress Management” in the field of Organizational Behaviour. The session aimed at providing the students a practical insight to the primary reasons of stress in today’s competitive world and what are the strategies to overcome work stress with the use of various techniques such exercise, relaxation, social networking and taking out some me time from our hectic schedule.

    Mr.Nikhil Dhyani, Director and Co-Founder of Noyer Creatif Consultancy & Trading Pvt Ltd was the speaker of the session. He has more than 10 years of rich experience of corporate and worked in companies like Redington India Ltd., HCL Info systems, Dun and Bradstreet etc.of He gave an overview of Stress Management strategies applied in corporate world these days. He also briefed the students about the benefits of physical exercise, relaxation techniques, laughing and socialising with friends and family to reduce work stress. Students found the session very knowledgeable and they interacted with the speaker for getting the answers of their queries. The Guest Lecture was coordinated by Prof.Monika Sharma
